With the help of his friend Hravanis, Frimsi travels to Beorninghus in order to make amends with Grimbeorn regarding a past dispute (Frimsi sold him fake jewelry). Frimsi is hoping such a reconciliation will get Grimbeorn to reduce the increased road toll rate he must pay at Vegbar as punishment for his wrongdoing. He offers a piece of real elven jewelry as a token of apology. Hravanis, trusted by Grimbeorn, is able to confirm that this time it is real.
