Thoughts of a lady, entry 2

"Freedom. What is it worth when faced with the the possibility of losing the one you love? Would you risk your life to save your hearts desires?" Tingruviel takes a deep breath, shading her eyes from the stark sun. The garden is still, not a flower moving. Music can be heard nearby, as everyone is celebrating the coming of spring. The ink bottle almost topples over as she realigns her position on the blanket. Even though Uthaer made his best efforts to level the ground, the grass underneath the blanket bends it into hillls, making it perilous to leave anything on top of it. Another dip of the quill and thoughts flows onto the paper.

"My fears were unfounded, I am glad to admit. The day before today was a conclusion of all the events that have occured up until now. A trial and a return of a couple who were supposedly deceased. Two friends' return and anothers salvation. How to put those feelings into words? I do not know. All I can say is that love has prevailed this time. Rainith is back and so is Galdorion. Both free to pursue love and to be merry in good friends company. Isoldis life has been spared to all our good fortunes. I cannot wish for more." Tingruviel ponders for a while, watching a butterfly whizz past her as she waits for her thoughts to settle.

A sudden crash inside the house jerks her out of her inner sanctity just before the doors to the house burst open. Next after Himwen comes Halvfdan sprinting, both obviously up to no good, as Lanoras rears his scarlet face in the entrance. Tingruviel hides her chuckling behind her hand, watching the scene. Himwen smiling sheepishly in excuse for her usual poor behaviour, quick to sprint off to another adventure. Halvfdan grappling his instrument firmly, as he waves goodbye to Lanoras, leaving the latter behind. Tingruviel shakes her head, picking up her writing essentials and the blanket. Upon reaching the door, she again shakes her head smiling, patting the bewildered Lanoras on his shoulder before entering the kin house.
