Caranhil is a tall, well-built man of clear Gondorian heritage. His long hair is dark brown and bordering on black, and he often wears it up in a ponytail to keep it out of his emerald eyes while he's on the road. 

He's usually clad in the colours of his homeland - silver and black - and adorned with various sigils of Gondor, whether that's the seven stars or the white tree.

He wields the elvish blade Anórachor, which was gifted to him by the elf Anarphen, when the duo met along the road to the Grey Havens. Caranhil leapt to the elf's aid against an orc hunting party, and with their victory, Anarphen relinquished his blade to his saviour before taking a ship into the West.

Caranhil is quick to laugh, but there's a steely glint in his eye that implies a potential ruthless streak if crossed.
