Most people did not spit on family graves. But this woman did not count as the majority. She was among the minority and when her ideals were being attacked. Then she did what was necessary to preserve them.
Zurich was weak, she was the little sister, how was it possible that those fools, thought that the welp could lead? It was an insult. Zurich always led with her 'Feelings' what good were feelings if those that were meant to respect you turned tail and trampled you? Her sister's death was appropriate because when fools try to 'play' at being a leader. They cannot see the motives of those around them. It's why the twins abandoned her to her fate. If Zurich had any sense when the twins, put her in 'charge' so that they could carry onto stars know what. She wouldn't have been banned. She never felt any love for Zurich, perhaps 'tolerance' or mutual respect that is expected between siblings. Did she ever wish harm upon her little sister? No, but she didn't stick her neck out for her. Not unless it benefited her in some way, she was the oldest and by default, she was the leader between the two.
Indignation was once an organization that Shyraa fully supported. It brought her thrill, a sense of belonging, that she could not find anywhere else. It was fun in the beginning, the twins did not bow to anyone. There were rules and a chain of command. Those that stepped out of line were knocked back into line. Either metaphorically or literally depending on the situation.
There was respect and power and many locals, outside of the organization hailed them as heroes for 'preserving the Bree-land way of life by any means necessary. There was once a time where even the watch was too afraid to step into their business.
But that time has long since passed. When the twins left like the cowards they were, the organization that was once feared and respected. Caved to the socialities and foreigners that preyed on Bree-land.
Now a decade later she finds herself with less than she deserves. Shyraa missed the feeling of power, the thrill of being able to make someone do whatever she wanted. It was time to establish some order in Bree-town again. Slowly, carefully, subtly. Her thoughts interrupted by a sudden voice in the miserable shack she currently called home "Oi' the debt collectors seem t' be comin' this way again. Wha' should I tell em'?'
"Tell them I'm not afraid and that they will get their money when I'm good and ready."
"Alrigh' bu' et's yer' neck on th' line." the voice called back.
"I didn't stay alive this long to be intimidated by boys who claim to be men. Get them off my back Dennet!"
"Alrigh' alrigh' keep yer' skirt on." The young man staying with her quipped back and he grinned "Actually.. I take tha' back."
Then it came 'Thwack!'
"I said get the door. And if you ever make eyes like that at me again, I will make sure you don't have any."
Dennet rubbed his cheek and huffed "Eh can't blame a man fer' tryin'."
Misery.. just Misery.
