Third Age Diary: Company and Conversations

Being back at my camp is an odd feeling. I had not thought I would be returning to this spot under the trees. Even though I am further from home once more, my heart seems lighter than it did the last time I ventured through these lands. This time, I have good friends and companions who will happily occupy my time. A darkness still lies on these lands, but the new companions I have had the pleasure of meeting have turned the darkness into little more than a shadow in my eyes.

All those I have met stand out in many ways and they have deep and interesting stories to themselves. I have met another elf of the company. Hiril Seregrian is a diplomat of the company. She is wise but sharp with her words, and has an oddly fashionable sense to her wardrobe, something I should have expected. The color red would best describe her being, both Hroa and Fea. Although she commands any room she enters, she has been most kind to me. I shall be joining her and others in two days time on a diplomatic relations meeting with the Woodsmen of these lands.

I am still getting used to the easterling, Kavad. He gives off the impression of a kind man, if not one unused to the ways of the men and other races of the west. He tries his best to be polite, though I am often shocked with the things that he says in my company. He is a fellow warrior of the company, and even with our differences, I look forward to fighting alongside him.

I have had the company of the lady Anastasiar once more. A couple days past, I had the pleasure of enjoying wine and coversation with her, the commander Furley and my new friend Amathlan. The conversation was happy for the most part, as I was privy to more information of Anastasiar and her new husband. I look forward to meeting the man. The four of us spoke much on the subject of love and marriage. It seems that finding one he will love for the rest of his life is the least of Commander Furley's worries. I do not understand this, but perhaps his fate and destiny lie in other matters.

As for Hir Amathlan, he worries that it is too late for him to find one who shall love him through the end of time. He mentioned that if he does marry in the future, he would buy all drinks for the company during the event. Those of this company seem to be heavy drinkers, so I believe Hir Amathlan will lose many a coin if there is one in this world who would marry him.

Lately, I have been spending time mostly at my camp. I have taken back up the crafting of fine bows and have spent many hours collect and carving the wood I find. I know there are some crafters of the company. Perhaps I shall offer my service in this department as well?
