"I'm glad I took part" Amaken thought, laying in bed after the tournament with Anastasiar at his side. He looked at her peaceful expression and only wondered what the wedding will be like. They asked Furley for presiding over the ceremony and he agreed. They decided on the venue.
"I think Rivendell would be a fitting place, don't you think ?" he said with a smile, holding Anastasiar's hands. "It's where all of our happy memories lead and it's only fitting our greatest one is also from there" he said, looking into her eyes. She nodded in agreement, not saying a word.
They looked at each other for a moment, no words needed to see what both of them were feeling at the moment. Their big day was coming.
"I'm going to meet Daphnee to organise some things" she said, getting ready to go. "Bye" she said, giving Amaken a kiss on the cheek. He waved her goodbye as she got out, mounting her steed and riding away.
"Probably to talk about wedding dress and such" Amaken thought with a smile. It didn't matter what Ana wore for this day, he would love her nonetheless. Suddenly, it hit him "Oh no ! All that time and I never checked for any formal clothing !" He panicked for a moment, immediately running to his chest to check his belongings. He did not take any formal clothing when he left Dale, not thinking that he'd need it. But now, he was getting married !"
Amaken took a deep breath and sat on the chair. "Ok, think ! Where to get a good clothing for wedding ?" Not having much time, he got up quickly and rode towards Bree and its market. He stormed into the market, almost like a man possessed. He looked for hours, trying different clothing, running back and forth between shops. Exhausted, with no much success, he sat on nearby bench with a panicked look on his face.
"What's the problem, lad ?" he felt a hand patting him on the shoulder. Furley smiled for a moment and joined him. Amaken explained his situation. Furley simply smirked and patted him on the back "Let's do something about it, then, hmmm ?" he said with a smile. "Thank you, sir" Amaken replied, thanking him for the help"
They went into the market, with Furley giving him advice and giving his honest opinion. Amaken was really impressed by Furley 's experience and sense with fine clothing. "Not a suprise" he said after a moment. "He IS an experienced merchant after all" he thought to himself with a smile. After many moments, they finally found what they needed. While Amaken was changing to his current attire, Furley began to chat with the merchant. After a moment, Amaken reached for his purse, ready to pay for the clothing.
"Not necessary, this gentleman there already paid for it" Merchant said, his head looking at Furley . "I hope it will be useful on your big day, young man" he said with a smile to Amaken. Amaken and Furley exited the market. "How much did you pay ? I'll return the amount" [[Amaken]] said, reaching for his coins. "No" Furley stopped him midmotion. "Consider it a present from me" he said with a smile. "You and Anastasiar are a part of the Company. I and all of the members are thankful for your work. We saw your feelings develop in time and we're glad you've decided to marry".
Amaken was shocked at the generocity. "Th-th-thank you !" he said with a smile, shaking Furley's hand. They said goodbye to each other. "Besides" Furley said, mounting his horse. "I wouldn't let you marry her in any clothing. Wedding has to be special" he said with a smirk and rode away.
With his package in hand, Amaken returned to his home, putting it in his chest. With a huge relief, he sighed and went to bed, thanking once again for this amazing Company he became part off......
