Something very unexpected happened yesterday...
I have been pondering about writing or dedicate a song to my dear Kin The Shadows, just to describe my feelings towards this Kinship I have been part of 3,5 years. But the act that happened yesterday describes everything about this Kinship.
Is no secret I really love my house, I think every friend I have knows how much I love my garden, all the things I have gathered or received as gifts during the years. I got so much items that has a great sentimental value for me. The house and the neighborhood means a lot for me. I like stay in my house when I test my new songs, I need the privacy to focus and fullfill the song...
Earlier this year Lithia and I had a housing competition and we went through all the houses in the Kinship and judged them. At the end of the competition we had a great event where we announced the winners and had some music and dancing. We travelled around a lot in Eriador, because everyone had houses spread all over..
I always have missed some neighboors in Arwich, I got Lillabeth though, but she is rarely home. I decided along with Kosei Blackthorne to move to a new neighborhood, because Kosei and I often likes to play tunes together wherever we are, and we thought to be in same neighborhood would make it easier for us to meet eachother a bit more often and play or music. So we decided to move to Langdell. A beautiful newly opened neighborhood, and we got the houses we wanted.. I was so excited and happy and I started to decorate, and in between I had to play music to relax. I just mentioned to some friends in Shadows that Kosei and I have moved to Langdell..
But what I did not know was that this seemed to tempt many others in The Shadows too. Suddenly I heard Zorbin (that won our housing make-over prize at our previous Kinevent) bought a house in Langdell. And shortly after him my dear dear friends Lithia and Bullborn came too, their sold their houses in Lightgard and bought exactly same houses in Langdell. Bullborns brother Morbull came along too...
Suddenly we were five Shadows-kinmembers in Langdell. I was so excited and suprised
But..It did not stop.. Suddenly the rumors seemed to reach more members..And it was like an explosion.. Surma moved, Loriandra, Abergar, Sparks, Kaslain, Faelreth, Aranolas, Caelas, Lillebeth, Yasura, Yma, Gisulf and Morosi...All the big house were bought up by Kinmembers..So many new neighbors and all friends aswell. .
When our leader Malthalras heard of this, he did something unexpected. He bought himself a house too, and sold the Kinhouse in Falathlorn, and bought a new one by the lovely waterfall. Wherever I was running in Langdell I saw my friends! A lot was on visit at Bullborn, Abergar was riding around, Surma stood in his garden pondering, and Kosei played his music outside the Kinhouse. And now I heard some in the Kinship is pondering to get a Kinhouse for my band aswell.. I cannot believe this, is such an heartwarming act..
Is amazing to see how many that suddenly gets so enthusiastic about things, and people helped eachother. I know people borrowed eachother money, and helped eachother to decorate. Is so typical Shadows sometimes and the true nature shows, we all like to stick together and help eachother..
I will go to the kinhouse this evening, and turn the house to a lovely meeting place, like a Inn, and a place for the band to rehearsal. I think I will make a beautiful trophee room, to show off The Shadows-deeds during the years..
I got a new home.. A beautiful house. But the true beauty of a home is when you have your family and friends around.. And yesterday a dream came true..
