Davamir and Drubainbess travel back to the Blackroot Vale, but not alone. At present, they are accompanied by the dwarf Balrinar, Bellindah and another Gondorian, Bolokoth.
They travel back south to face their threats and problems at home, though not without trial. Drubainbess is a wanted woman, and Davamir is not only a deserter but an outcast of his family in an outcasted family clinging on to their last thimble of nobility.
