Upon arriving at the farm, I found out that a father and his two sons have caught the same illness. I'm still uncertain how that happened, but the three stable-hands have been isolated in the same room.
They all complain about a terrible ache in their bodies any time they move. There is a rash on their backs, thighs, shoulders and up the neck of the youngest son. They all have a high fever, causing them to sweat. The three have had trouble eating, if it doesn't go up, it goes down.

They've at least gotten used to the mask, so I'm able to stay in the room, observe and treat them. I've asked the women to clean the house and the rooms of the three in particular. If the disease has managed to creep onto any furniture, it shouldn't be able to jump if it's scrubbed away. If my father's theory is correct.
The stable-hand's wife has offered to act as my assistant. While her clothing isn't what I'd recommend, it's better than nothing, and she's found a mask and bonnet to protect herself.

We've been able to calm their itching with the use of oatmeal. The pain is managed with the Willow Bark, but we'll have to see how effective the ginger will be in fighting against their stomach troubles.
No one else appears sick so far but I've asked any to come see me right away if they notice anything. According to the father, the rash was the first thing that he noticed. When the three are more lucid, I'll talk with them again. Try and figure this out.
