Fiontann kneels near a tree, he's keeping it to his right to hide him from the brigand camp up the hill, as well as the patrols that walk around. Some other trees five or four meters away from him cover him from the side of the lake as well, where the meeting will take place, he keeps the hood low to hide any white parts in the dark and waits for the meeting, he doesn't mind the cold.
Anriett would grab her short-swords from the steed as none around yet, hides them at her back. Turns towards the camp and waits patiently, crosses her arms in front of herself. She doesn't look around to find Fiontann, she thinks it's better if she doesn't know the place, so won't look that way.
Anriett would not have to wait long as a head would appear from above the wooden wall, then a hand would signal something, some moments later the sound of a gate would sound. Within moments of the opening a man would be visible going down the muddy path, his clothes would be the same as all brigands, except for a red handkerchief tied to his left arm. The man would approach Anriett, she would see his features, sunken cheeks, messy hair stuck to his forehead from the rain and a thin mustache, some mud would now be wet on his cheeks and his smile would try to be charming. Upon approaching and seeing her features he would quickly try to fix his hair and cross his arms, looking at her up and down, waiting for her to speak first.
Anriett is scanning the man while walking down to her, she smiles at him mischievously and says calmly to him.
"So Twirks would look like that, I'm impressed."
She pulls her hood a bit back so he can see her eyes under it.
"If he can help me as I heard I will be more impressed I can say."
"And how can /mr/ Twirks help a so charming lady?"
Comes his responses without a delay, he lifts his right hand but upon to hits his forehead rather powerfully in a funny manner he tugs his thumb in his belt. His eyes fixed on hers for a very few moments till they travel upon her up and down.
Anriett keeps her eyes on him all the time. Her arms are still crossed in front of herself and that smile is on her face all the time.
"I got the information about you can find me weapons in a big amount, about twenty daggers and swords"
The man listens to her and upon her finishing her sentence he runs hs thumb over his mustache slowly, thinking. His eyes turn down and left and right as he seems to be calculating something. In the end he looks up at her, his right thumb on the edge of the right side of his mustache.
"Who told you that?"
Anriett tilts her head and grins.
"That's not the question. I have my contacts around. And you should be satisfied as a business came into your way."
She is scanning his face for some moments.
"Tell me the price of it"
The man crosses his arms behind his back and walks past her, he stops there, looking forward, letting the last drops of rain fall on him. He remains there, thinking once more, until his voice sounds in a calm manner I see.
"Twenty swords and daggers you say... To do with them what?"
Anriett would turn as he walks pass her and keeps her eyes on him, before she turns she may look towards the gate once more to see if anyone came out there.
"Do you ask everyone about the using of those weapons?"
"If it leads to my compromising I do. If you build an army then it would be dangerous for me for many reasons."
Would the man reply and turn around to face her once more, then he asks.
"How much are you willing to spend for that many weapons?"
Anriett would grab a purse from her belt and hands it towards him, that would be filled with gold coins.
"Actually there is something I would offer you besides those weapons"
The man takes the purse and opens it, then looks up at her bringing his brows together questioningly.
"What else?"
Anriett would lower her hands to her belt, but still not on her daggers and looking at him, smiles at him again.
"I need some more information, not just now, but I offer you to work with me."
She is scanning his face for reactions.
"I would pay for those information very well"
The man would pass his right thumb over his mustache again, a sign that he thinks deeply.
"What kind of information?"
He asks in the end, keeping his thumb on the edge of the mustache as before, his eyes would be on her, on her lips specifically, waiting for the answer.
Anriett is scanning his face too and says calmly again.
"Before I tell you what kind of information...answer me please. Will you work with me or not?"
She grins at him.
"You always need some free gold I'm sure"
The man shakes his head slightly, his thumb remaining where it is, when the head stops shaking his thumb is on the edge of the mustache still.
"I don't gamble, I work. So you either tell me what kind of information you need or you go away now."
Shoves his hands into his pockets, turning his head to the left and towards the forest where Fiontann is hid behind the trees.
Anriett nods to him and shakes her head slightly too.
"Alright...alright."
She crosses her arms again in front of herself.
"I need the information if anyone came to you and asked for a big amount of goods, weapons, leather, wood or anything useful"
She thinks for a moment.
"During the last few months"
The man brings his brows together upon hearing her question and smiles in a sarcastically manner.
"What? Is it your enemy taking up arms against you and you're trying to do it first?"
Laughs loudly, making the patrol and guard look at him and laugh too.
Anriett would hear the guards laughing but doesn't turn that way, she still keeps her eyes on Twirks. Shakes her head at his words and says calmly.
"I didn't come here to make jokes about you, so please leave that manner. I'm looking after a cart of coins which was stolen few months ago"
She raises her brow and looking into his eyes with a serious look.
A smile appears on the man's lips, slowly, very slowly and his eyes gleam when he hears the word /gold/, his right hand drops from his mustache and his head raises to look at her with seriousness. His right hand now lifts to push his hair back, he does that twice or thrice since his greasy brown hair were stuck on his forehead by the rainwater and sighs deeply.
"A cart of coins, full of coins? All of it? Who stole it?"
His questions are quick yet he seems to be trying to be slow and seem controlled, not successfully though.
Anriett would pull back her hood as the rain stopped, she is scanning him and tries to figure out how much he would know about that all, says again in very calm manner.
"You are that man who can help them if they wish to spend that money on goods, so I think they found you to help them"
She would shake her red hair a bit to let it fall on her shoulder playfully, smiles at him.
"Or I could be the man to rid them of those."
He said with attitude and his right hand wrapped around the lower half of his face, the thumb once more on the edge of he mustache.
"Let's say that I help you. What is it that I gain?"
Anriett nods to him and says.
"I see that some gold would make you interested in that all. I can pay for it, you tell me the price"
"It's a cart full of gold? You will pay me to find yo some gold while I can take part of it? "
Replies the man in a way that he tells the obvious.
Anriett tilts her head at him.
"Than what else do you want as a payment?"
"I just told you, part of the gold that the cart carries."
The man says slowly to make her understand.
Anriett thinks for some moments and nods to him, holds her hand out to him.
"Deal"
The man now doesn't seem convinced.
"How can I believe you?"
He asks dropping his hands to his sides.
Anriett chuckles at his words an grins at him.
"Do you think I wish to lose my head if I don't pay you?"
She tilts her head slightly.
"I'm sure you know how to find me"
That is true. The man says drawing a deep breath so that he seems taller and bigger and extends his hand for the sealing of the deal.
Anriett would shake his hand strongly while smiles at him.
"Good"
"How can I find you with information?"
Anriett thinks for some moments and says calmly.
"Just leave a note at the tavern to Anriett and I can come to meet you. If that's fine by you. I'm sure you have your man for that"
The man nods again, now utterly confident and lifts his right hand and moves his fingers to wave at her, then he walks back to the camp. At some point his shoe would get stuck in the mud and he would stumble and get his foot dirty, after that he'd hurry back to the camp.
Anriett would follow him with her eyes and tries not to laugh when he stuck in the mud, she would scan the guards too and grabs the reins of her horse, leads her away from the camp, back to the meeting point.
Fiontann scoffs upon seeing that, maybe a little loudly, making the patrols start moving fast, so he walks away.
