Listening to the Stones

Lothelian sits within the ruins of Gwingris, on the first leg of her journey East to the Golden Wood in the company of her mentors Annunghil and Makanare, as well as many others. In wonder she lays her hands upon the stones and contemplates the dirge they sing in honor of her ancestors, who once shaped them and built them into works marvellous and fair. But they are gone now, and the land is empty and barren which once was full of life and song.
