Background
Torstahn grew up, second oldest son to Jorstahn Hroldren, a simple farmer and hunter in the lands of Rohan. His mother passed, giving birth to his sister, Ysildra Hroldren, aspiring Shield-Maiden. Torstahn did not know much of his older brother, his father never spoke of him and when asked, would turn bitter and change the subject of the conversation.
When Torstahn reached his twenty fourth spring, Jorstahn allowed his son to leave home in search of his own life. Giving him a pack, with provisions for three days travel, their youngest gelding and a bow fashioned by his father from ash wood. They prepared the farm, and after bidding his family farewell, he made his way around the world.
After arriving in a strange place simply known as 'combe', he begins his quest to find work and forge a name for himself, in hopes of bearing honor in his fathers name.
