Home Again ! - A Poem

Home again!

Sweet place that I adore
My heart shall just be yours
In magical delight
To see, to hear, to touch, to hold, to fly
With you again in sweetest company

Home again!

Under a stars-filled sky
No better place for thy
For here there is great joy
We sit, we smile, we dance, we sing, we love
With you again in sweetest company

Shire day!

The sun on thee does shine
Green rolling hills and forests deep
Will feed us with delight
The hills, the fields, the streams that slowly flow
Home where the heart is forevermore

Starry night!

My sleep is full of dreams
I see your moonlit streams
My heart takes much delight
To live and love  across the Brandywine
To feel this land is blessed and truly mine

Shire fields!

To walk upon thy land
To hold you in my hand
My life feels now complete
The eyes so clear, of dreams this place is made
As Shire sunset glows and then softly fades

Gentle Land!

Sweet place that I adore
My heart forever yours
In magical delight
To see, to hear, to touch, to hold, to fly
With you again in endless Shire sky.
