It's over...
I'm not married anymore...
At first... I wanted to fix my marriage so badly... but my worries about hurting him more were what drove me to sign the divorce papers... I didn't want to keep hurting him, after all of the things I had put him through...
Well... I went to tell him that I'd signed the papers... but I couldn't find him anywhere.
Later on, that day, I found out that he had ran off--went back to Dale, from what I was told--and left a note, revealing... revealing the truth about several things... that he had been having an affair, that... that he had been trying to split my family apart...
He gave me... so much hell... about something that happened once, only for him to do the same thing to me? Likely several times? He lied to me... I hate being lied to. As does Dad and Dal, and everyone else I know.
And instead of taking the responsibility for his actions, he runs off to Dale. I can't... I can't believe he turned into the man he SWORE he never would... he turned into his father... someone he hated with a passion...
He didn't just leave me, either; he ran off on his child, yet unborn but that makes no real difference. He left his child, another promise he broke. Another lie he told me. He... He burned me, terribly so. Figuratively speaking, of course, but still.
I... I am glad I moved everything of mine out of the house that once stood as a testament to my marriage... apparently, someone set it aflame in the night, and now it is nothing but a pile of ashy rubble.
Whoever did it, I... I don't know if I want to thank them or slap them...
At least there are several things I no longer need to worry about...
