This piece of writing has been sprouted from the innocence of childhood, and thoroughly enjoying being told a goodnight story by your parents after a long day working in the fields. I was lucky enough that I eventually were allowed to leave the farm my family owned so that I might pursue my own desires. These desires were knowledge, and I soon learned to read and I developed a crude form of penmanship that I have spent years toiling over to make it somewhat acceptable. Though through all these years of writing and reading, I never fully let go of the joys of a good story, so I decided to search for the truth of all of these mythical and legendary stories and creatures, hopefully answering some of them in the process. This piece will also serve to hopefully interest others in the ways of scholarly education and gain understanding of the need of scribes. I hope you all will enjoy reading this as much as I will enjoy writing it.
