"He decided that day he would do his best to find work, even if it was short duration, mucking at pig pens if needed. He was going to save his earned coins, monitor what he spent even if it meant sleeping in a cave rather than spending some mere silver coins to sleep in a warm bed. He vowed, a very serious vow, he would better himself, he would grow into a man of honesty, trust. And that is what he did, though over time, as his job history became more various, this goal started to merge with his built in anger with his Mothers death. It slowly became "I will better myself so that when I do find the man, I have more money, then I can kill him"
