Witnesses - A few passerby's.

Overview

Nessya and Orthelias were given the task of patrolling Bree. Their easy walk in the park, however, was cut short when they arrived upon the town square and witnessed the Supplier, who was still manning his stand, looking terrorized by a hooded man, who would then further become known as the "Bishop." (His 'True Name', as he so said, was Abanzaindar Traimiko, Hallorounda Tellerunya Zabar the Elleventh. But that is quite a mouthful.) It was there that the Supplier, noticing the now three watchers- having been joined by Hirthor only moments prior, caught there eye. Bishop noticed them as well, and approached, offering to sell his 'wares'. Such being spices, plants, and other odds and ends.

Orthelias was the first to accept his offer to browse his wares, not trusting the man it seemed. The rest of the watchers followed, inspecting the stands while the Supplier stood quietly in his own nervousness. The Bishop was doing fine work of presenting everything, and had it not been for his confident nature, perhaps two of the three would not have fallen for a trap- given a drug of a pipe-weed that more or less Incapacitated them with muddled minds for the better part of an hour. First trapping Nessya with the promise of taking away pain; as she had been injured only a few nights before, and Orthelias decided that it would be a good idea to follow her lead.

While the two Constables were now incapacitated, the new recruit, Hirthor worked at the man, about his wares, his swords, trying to get him to slip up. Unlike the other two, he had taken the pipe without any signs of being muddled. The Bishop had answered confidently, and while Hirthor had his suspicions, the Bishop had done well not to slip up. It was then that the Watchers were joined by the Deputy, Rick Cobb.

Rick had also fallen trap to the pipe, but like the Recruit, it did not have much of an affect on him. The questions continued from both parties; Nessya working at the Supplier, while the other three had their attentions on the man. Everything was met with a confident answer until the Bishop was asked a simple question: If he was a thief. Attempting like he had done so much before, he tried to lie, however, Nessya had called him out on his lie rather quickly. Orthelias had gathered up more suspiciousness of the man, and Hirthor had the same view point upon him; it was no longer the trust, albeit the slight trust, that they had before. It was then that the Bishop begun to get nervous, and with more questions being pressed at him, he begun to flee.

Hirthor and Rick sprinted after him, and quickly tackled him to the floor, while Orthelias trailed behind in a muddled jog. Throughout all this, Nessya was working upon the Supplier, asking him countless questions until he snapped. He confessed and admitted that the Bishop had stolen wares, and was forcing him to sell them. He also handed over a letter, a small handful of silver, and a token- a large coin with B.T.T.C engraved on one side, and a hawk-like bird on the other.

Meanwhile, Rick, Hirthor and Orthelias had tackled the Bishop to the ground, and the man, once a terror to the supplier, agreed to go peacefully. It was then that Hrithor and Orthealis went to rest, while Rick and a still-muddled Nessya brought the Bishop to the jail, where he was locked up.

Some time later, Nessya questioned the man. He was oddly free-spoken about his work. He admitted that the coin was a symbol for a group called, in Common, the Black Talon Trade Company. He had marked a map of three locations in which their hideouts were located as questions were asked, with other information such as one being in the South of town, one south of Bree, and one in the far West.

There was one prisoner; no casualties or injuries.
