Journal - Snakes, Dwarves and product placement.

Poor Mr. Hadlesworth. Many recent events have shifted his life from a prosperous one into a downwards spiral. Such a shame. Life for me has taken an upwards one, providing Arrowhavens bounty on my head remains vague enough. My returns from the last job gave me enough to keep the landlord happy, and a couple tankards of ale for his goons. Perhaps that might keep them from removing my door from its hinges when I next fall short. Unlikely..

'Joe' was quick to send another job my way, though he knew little in way of the details. The client, a quite beautiful blonde whose connection to 'Joe' has me quiet intrigued, met with me in the Oldstone Gardens two nights past. A curious woman. I employed the 'Rodney' character for our meeting, a woman of those looks might find confidence in an honest man such as me but with Rodney.. I suppose feminine charms work poorly upon feminine fellows.

The job itself is a simple one, albiet somewhat backwards to my usual tasks. I'm to place a shedding of snake skin on the stall of a dwarvern trader. Hilfar, somewhat famed amongst the bree folk for a patented cure for too many cups of liquor. A noble fellow, I do not doubt, but a foolish one to entangle himself with a scorned woman such as this. Most importantly, I'm to receive a total of six hundred silvers for my work. She's already paid the first three hundred in down payment, such a kindness.
