Brammy found himself at ease within the column of riders as the green lands of Bree rolled by, gradually turning to the harsher colours of the lands known as the Lone-lands. By now they had made it to the beautiful Bruinen Gorges, where they had set up camp. He had warmed to the Dawners, as they called themselves, more than he had ever done to the Blackwolds.

They were joined by the ever mysterious Grey Warden, who followed close behind. He must make it his task to find out who this silent, hooded man is before the end of the campaign.

It was soon after they crossed the Last Bridge that they were ambushed by a band of orcs. They were swiftly dispatched with little injury. The surviving orcs seemed in a hurry to retreat over the bridge, towards the Bree-lands. What was their purpose? Were they afraid?

Of more pressing concern was the presence of Taala. Weeks on the road with that redheaded menace from Rohan? This was going to be a long trip...
