The first person I cheered up! I think her name was Nellye or something.. but she was a nuisance to make laugh! First of all it started with me on the table looking around and Olly came up as well!
He pushed me down so I pushed him off.. .then this other lad came, have not even seen him before! He told me to say sorry to Olly and I said no and jumped off the table, well I planned to jump off the table... instead I slipped in ale and fell to the floor. Where that mystery lad came and kicked me in the head.. twice! Good old blondie grabbed onto him though, then Olly and me joined! Olly dragged him while I jumped on his back.. but the bloody mare brought his elbow up and hit me in the eye, blood all on my tunic! After that I cant really remember what happened but I went up to that Nellye...
She said that to make her cheer up, I either had to tease some one or get some of my special “cider”. Now when I mean special “cider”, I don't mean the one that brewers make to be sold in the inn, oh no! Special “cider” is what happens to anyone after you have lots of drinks! And I did this before but instead of my own “cider” it was a donkeys. That man did not react to happy to it..
Once I filled up the tankard, I went in and asked who she thought would be a good target.. she pointed out a man in shiny armour and I approached him, speaking like I would to Short-Arse. I offered him the “cider” and he took it, taking a hearty swig of the stuff! I just couldn't help myself and started to laugh! The others soon followed! Well.. he didn't take this too well and threw a fist my way, I took it to the jaw but kept laughing! Still in slight disbelief that he did not notice! After a while I fell onto my back and laughed!
After I could not breathe I slowly stopped laughing and it turned into a chuckle.. when I asked Nellye if she was cheered up, she said aye! See?! I am good at this! One down already! Soon, I will have the whole of the Braying Donkeys* cheered up!
