Personal Records; Entry 33

This is a Letter

Many things are happening at once: Malliel, my beloved, is training herself; she does not wish to partake the journey to our Homeland, unprepared.

Lothlórien is seeing many outsiders at the borders. I grow weary of them all; they are either half-dumb, or wicked. Only those that The Lady and Lord seek, will be allowed true passage.

All else will have the eyes and suspicion of my kindred Galadhrim, upon them. I have spoken again, with Tinuvinil. He and I were the best of friends as children, and we count each other in equal, now in our current days.

I have asked him to accompany me at my Wedding, and for his permission (As Malliel's tutor), to marry my beloved (It felt unright to proceed, without knowledge that he agreed with the proposition). Vingilotz, my friend of old, has agreed to perform the ceremony; in the customs of the Galadhrim.

I am glad that he will watch over the ceremony, and bind me and Malliel in Marriage. This parchment grows short, and I lay aside my quill.
