Chronicle Content

Fiontann went to the West Gate again, he sat on the rock nearby and waited for the sun to fall. He was thinking at all that has happened at the expedition, of the injured men, the blood that was shed, the killing...

Not much time has passed when the hooded man came, he approached Fion and asked "Did you find the stuff?". Fiontann turned and looked at him with a serious face and responded "We did, but.. It was hard... Everyone is exhausted and injured, that means that the payment is higher than the intended." while taking the papers and the ring out of his tunic. The man looked at them and said "A chest of gold!". Fiontann stood up and raised his brow "A chest of gold is enough for just one man to mend all his wounds fully." Then man looked at Fion, he was still covered in blood and sweaty and nods "Fair enough." he walks inside the Gate and orders something. Some men came outside carrying chests, more than one, they opened them and the gold started gleaming at the last rays of sun.

Fiontann looked at them and put his hand in each one, making sure it was gold, then he bowed his head slightly and smiled, "I wouldn't ask for that much if it was easier, or you didn't have it." he said and handed the man the stuff. The hooded man nodded and said "Thank you for your services, if I ever need your services again I will come find you." "Feel free!" Fiontann responded "We have the best men in these parts and even farther.". The man left and Fion threw a pouch to the guard "Ask for a cart." he said.

Fiontann reached the Dawnhall, there he left one chest full with gold, with a note on it "The amount that goes straight to the Bloody Dawn.". He started filling bags with gold and sent each bag to each of the men and women that came, the share was not equal, it was fair!
