I haven't written for a very very long time, and that is because I had many other things to think about – we all returned back home, and in Bree I got a new pony for myself. An old nice lady sold him to me and told that I would never need to regret if I befriended with this small pony (and I indeed haven't). He is called Birk and has the most lovable nature. I am glad things turned out this way.

Life has been very quiet and tedious even after returning to the Shire. I have spent my time investigating the family trees (I did not know earlier that even Bolgers are related to the Bagginses. No doubt I should have guessed but did not. Luckily no one ever brought it up so it will stay secret). I have been thinking about doing something else because cooking is starting to get on my nerves - I feel like I could do with another adventure and yet I'd hate to leave. I have not seen Amorey for a while, I knocked her door a couple of days ago but she was not home. Where has she gone, I wonder? Probably Amey's on a new adventure or just strolling around. Mrs. Tubwort might know! I will ask her as soon as I am visiting Brockenborings again.
