I had come by the guest house in search of you, but you were not there for me to tell you that Nelnardis has returned from her and Ebbephant's duty in Rohan. Yes, only Nelnardis has returned.
Worry not, for your brother is safe in Lothlórien, our mutual homeland. However, I can not assure you that he is completely well. Nelnardis has revealed to Lady Elisbeth, Lord Khalis, and myself that Ebbephant had met with extreme danger in his return to Imladris. It was near the Anduin where he had been ripped of his right arm by wandering trolls.
Nelnardis and I will be departing from the vale to meet with him in Lothlórien as soon as we are prepared. It will take us some time before we are ready to make the journey, so we will be awaiting your response. I will check for you again before we leave, so please remain at the guest house if you are able.
