Less Can Be More -A Poem

I don't need too many things
I'd say 'Less can be  more'
Joy that only close friends bring
Forever, now and as before.

Few little things so bright and beautiful,
They are so great and small,
Few things so wise and wonderful
Brings happiness to all.

The snowy headed mountains,
The rivers running by,
The sunset and early morning
That brightens up Shire's sky.

The cold chill in the winter,
The hottest summer sun,
That ripe fruits in the orchard,
Brings joy to every one.

The tall trees in the Bindbole wood,
The meadows where children play,
Just fishing by The Water,
To gather dinner today.

My pipe and smoking rings,
Old stories, a muffin or three
Dark ale, a song , a dance
It's all I really need

I don't need too many things
I'd say 'Less can be  more'
Joy that only close friends bring
Forever, now and as before.
