Naima had returned to the Plough and Stars after running an errand to find Uncle Halson waiting for her. Rather than being told off for forgetting to do something she was in fact going to be given the chance to help the owner of The Floating Log inn over at Frogmorton.
The Floating Log inn had recently had renovations and was in a terrible state. Although she would have to find lodgings in Frogmorton Naima would have greater responsibilities than just collecting empty mugs and cleaning.
At least it would give her a chance to further explore that part of The Shire.
