The House of Valehaven

IC:  Long ago in the early battles of Middle Earth the lin of Taurlonde, or Valehaven in the common tongue, vowed to protect the land and all the good spirits that thrived upon it.  As the call to Valinor draws the elder elves of the Valehaven family back to its shores, it is the strength and spirit of the younger generation that stands against the impending darkness, in memory of the vows made long ago.

After the loss of her family during a pilgrimage through Middle Earth, Cerynitis called to her remaining relations to join her in the battle against the ever growing power of Sauron.

OOC: We are simply a kinship of friends who enjoy helping each other out as we explore the World of Middle Earth.

While there is a storyline behind the start of the kinship, Role Playing is not a requirement.  Because our various characters are of different levels, we usually don't try to incorperate the quest events of the game into the RP.  All in all, RPing for us is generally casual.

There is also no race restriction.  We welcome Elves, humans, dwarves, and hobbits alike.  The primarily reason it is stated as an Elven Kinship is because in the vague storyline, the House of  Valehaven was originally made up of the Valehaven family.

All in all our primary goal is to help each other out, be it with quests, in obtaining supplies for crafting, or aiding those outside of the kinship.  After all, we could all use a little help and deserve to enjoy the game.

What's Available Thus far:

Free Crafting Materials:  Within the kinship house crafting materials and recipes will be stored in the chests, in case someone doesn't have the time to harvest them.

Any full stacks remaining in the chests by the end of the month will be sold in the open market at competative prices.  Because so many within the kinship helped to gather supplies, the profits will be divided up and distributed among the singular members (not including any alternate/multiple characters within the kinship roster)

Discounts on Crafted Items:  Kinmembers can buy stacks of crafted items at just coppers to a silver above vendor re-sale value.  Available in the Auction House.  This includes Food, Tokens, Potions, and Class Specific Gear!

At the end of the month, if nothing has sold (From Krystic or Lefrinu, as other members can freely do what they please with their own wares), then it all will go out to the open market, competively priced.  Because so many within the kinship helped to gather supplies, the profits will be divided up and distributed among the singular members (not including any alternate/multiple characters within the kinship roster)

No Disbanding Due to Inactivity*:  We understand that the game is not your life.  Therefore, if you find yourself unable to play or you simply need a break from the game, know that when you return you will still be a member of the kinship.  However, disrespectful actions towards your fellow game players will get you disbanded.  

*Of course, if the kinship leader becomes inactive, this statement is null and void.

No Conflicts in Events:  If a member announces that they will be running an event during a specific time frame, no other events will be scheduled during that slotted time.

Events:  None are currently arranged, but we are open to joining other groups in events, raids, instances, and the likes.

We are not here to compete with any other kinships.  We are here simply to enjoy the game.
