(( A drawing on which I spent about 4 hours in total. The western coast of river Lhun I drew on the basis of the LoTRO map, but the area east of Lhun is made up by me, as Tolkien has never even mentioned Falathlorn to begin with.
'Edeb Aglar' - House of Glory - is how Garethred named his manor; it is located roughly in the centre of the map.
It was early morning, perhaps two or three hours after midnight. The sparkling night sky emitted a sense of happiness and comfort, both Garethred and Rildheldiel grateful for this as they both had their reasons to shed tears of grief.
The sun shines warm on the water, determined not to abandon its grip on the summer sky just yet. I sit with my bare feet just brushing the light waves that set the docks to creaking, and the small boats bobbing placidly about. The small dock-cat sits pressed beside my legs, paws folded possessively over a piece of fish she has stolen. I run one hand rhythmically through her fur, feeling the rumbling vibrations of her purr as she stretches out more lazily, content to sit in the sun and be loved.
This song I remember my Mother sang for me, when I was a little child..
Often when I ride around the Vale..I can hear the song even if she is not around... It always remind me of her, but also how special we are...and how gifted and blessed I am to be the person that I am...My mother always reminded me about that.. I was never allowed to have low thoughts of myself, nor was I allowed to take my surroundings for granted..
