I have thought much about what song would fit Alfrewyn's story and future.  Who is she and what will she become.

I then came across a song which I believe works well between the connection of her grandfather, whom she has lived most of her life with, and her return home to Rohan.

As I sit by the fire at Ost Guruth, the past few days come to me so vividly.

It was only seven days ago I was at home with grandfather, cooking up that eve's meal.  He was in good spirits then, though his back bothered him.  I had him sitting up in his favorite chair, wrapped in a blanket I made for him.  As I handed him the stew, he surprised me with a question.

"Have you ever thought of heading home, child?"

After a week of respite and re-evaluation of their options the Rohirrim are once again to ride, this time east, by the Great East Road, towards the Lone Lands and Ost Guruth.

That last week had most of the riders on the edge, for some yerned to go back home and see their loved ones, while others couldn't wait to ride down the plains of Rohan chasing the enemy back where they came from.

The time had come. Swords were sharpened, armors were polished, horses were bridled. After two whole weeks of gathering supplies and warriors, the Eored was ready to depart.

Why is the warrior wayward and weary? Why rides he south, bear children and wife?

Why ferries farmer and flaxen-haired kin? Why bear they sword and bear knife?
