Lithuial  - Oloriránë

S: Lith - Ash, Uial - Twilight;  Ashen Twilight

Q: Olorin - Dreamer, Ránë  -  Wanderer (Rána the Moon); Wandering Dreamer

Lithiuial bears herself with dignity and pride, intelligent silver eyes reflect deeper knowledge about world and all what we see or not. Gaunt face with small lips is framed with dark long hair in peculiar color of an ash, reflecting light in many shades.

Of all children she is most resembling to her father by physical appearance, thus shorter and stouter than most her kin.

Garbed in silver, grey, earthy tones she can hide from the sight of common beasts and people as she journeys the lands. But just as any elleth she would wear dresses in safe havens of her   people, tailored by her mother.

She bears herself shy, usually standing in the shade or shadow, watching the others commune. Her voice is deep melodic whisper of leaves, yet strong as roots of the Hithaeglir if needed.

One can notice a satchel and a traveling bag on her back of elegant yet sturdy make. Different tools could be found in her bag for writing, carving, looking glasses and different noble stones with inscriptions. As she leaves safe havens of her people, she has a long dagger made by her brother Gondmegil.

Background

Lithuial is born in year 740 of Second Age in Ost-in-Edhil as third child and first daughter of Barlithuial (Nargothrond elf of house Finarfin, seamstress of lady Galadriel's host) and Gondmir (Avarin stonemason of small village in Eregion before establishment of Ost-in-Edhil). Brothers Gondithil and Gondmegil loved dearly their young sister and there was a great bond between all of the children.

She grew in golden days of Eregion and Gwaith-i-Mirdain, growing into a scholar proficient in elven and dwarven knowledge about empowering items with inscriptions of power.

As days darkened and masks of great ones have fallen, and great war fell upon Eregion, she lost her eldest brother and father in great wars that sundered and ruined peaceful life. No longer she could spend days in thoughts about how ithildin could be used but for defense, making wards and helping as healer to the wounded. Preserving the knowledge in library of Tham Mirdan was one of her duties, packing and sending them off to hidden caves. At the end they had to flee with many scrolls and tablets left behind, leaving them to their fate of war and time.

They fled to the north to Imladris, carrying valuable relics, scrolls and tablets (many of them later ended in famous Elronds library). After that she is known to spend years in search of ruins in south, collecting ancient lore, reconstructing the texts and anything she would find of value for scholars and artisans.

As her mother followed lady Galadriel to Lorien and brother resides in Rivendell, she could be find there while visiting her relatives.
