Outward Appearance

A very young woman of average height, though maybe a little bit taller than most of the Bree-land women. Her face is covered with hundreds of freckles. Her eyes are of a bright blue, similar to the great ice-sea of Forochel, while her hair shines in a white-blond.
Though quite sweet, she is no beauty that would stand out of the crowd.
Piika has always a smile on her face, may it be curious or cheeky. She seems to give much of her appearance as her hair is always accurately in place and her clothes always fine and clean. A black cuddly scarf lies around her neck. One wonders whether she takes that ever off.

Background

Piika is the only child of Jussi Pähkinänkuori and Liz Winterrose. She was born up in Kauppa-Kohta but her mother was able to move Jussi to come with her to Bree-land where they live now in a small cottage down the road.
Piika has ever been living in two worlds. In Bree and its society and in Forochel and its nature, hence she finds amusement in both walking into the inn, (despite her young age) or venturing off into the fields and woods. Her father takes her at least one time per season to Kauppa-Kohta where they visit her grandparents and friends. Piika enjoys these travels greatly and the possibility to speak with the Lossoth in their own tongue, as she feels somehow more bound to this side of her heritage.

Her life in Bree is compared to others somewhat easy for Piika. Her mother got a great heirloom of money from her dead aunt, as the family has little to worry about accomodation. But still is her mother a very precise and perfectionistic woman and chases Piika from dawn till dusk to do these chores and these duties for her. Such as cleaning, going to the market or to go out and gather some herbs for a fine dinner. Piika has to her mother's frustation and her father's amusement her own mind and runs quicker away then one might spot her. She knows many hide-outs, botn outside and inside Bree, of which one is a side-room in the ''Prancing Pony''.
If not sleeping too long into the day or munching on a piece of cake, she would make time pass with listening to tales, balancing on the city-wall, asking wanderers until they shoo her away or chasing the chicken of the farmers by the north-gate. Adult and Piika are two different things and her mother doubts that Piika would ever reach that state.

In Forochel and Kauppa-Kohta, Piika seems completely changed. She gets up early in the morning to help her grandmother prepare the porrage and tea for them, while waiting for her grandfather to get up. He would take her fishing, hunting or play for her a song or tell one of his tales from which many in Kauppa-Kohta say, that one can never be sure what the old Pähkinänkuori really had seen. No matter fairy tale or not, Piika loves her grandparents and her time in Forochel, playing with the other kids in the snow or taking a ride on one of the ice-sledges. Other than in Bree, she is precisely to the time at home when she was asked to. Probably not because she was asked, but her grandfather told her often enough that the Susiväki would come out at night and take her with them. And after all, Piika is afraid of big dogs and wolves. What Piika greatly enjoys and she misses even as greatly in Bree-land, is the hot steamy Sauna they visit almost every evening and the cold baths they take afterwards in the Korkea-järvi. She leaves Kauppa-Kohta never without a few gifts and a few tears in her eyes, when she says farewell to her friends and grandparents and promises to be soon back.
