Regarding Family



This is a Diary

Never, as I note, do I write of my kin. Not my kindred fellows, but my family. Those of blood-relation.

Perhaps I should start at the beginning. Of the first generation of my house.

In the years of the Tree's, Mélu and Istië were born and wedded. I know not of them, much, for they never stepped foot into these lands.

To them, my father Ornalaurëon was born. Then, he met my mother.

Ah, my dear mother. Born to Olormë and Pirúcon, simple folk of the Eldar, she came to the Anduin Vale; and became a seamstress to Amroth. Oh, I still have the tapestries she once wove. Alas, they are faded through age.

Then, early in the Second Age of the world, they wed. My sister was born in the year 3200, and wed in the 435th year of the Third Age. Her husband, I knew little of him.

Ah, such a family. Such tales. So much to write of...
