Of Sisters and Honeybees

To my family - my mother and father, my cousins both big and small, and, yes, you too Sommar for I know you will likely get your hands on this first:

I have made it back to the Mossbank farm in Breeland and have distributed all presents I have brought with me save for one - the lute I had made for Gregwald of Dale since he had sold his to a Dwarf merchant and was sad about it afterward. I do not understand why people do things that they know will make them unhappy. But I am am still a student of the ways of the people here.

My apprentice was able to keep my bees alive and healthy over the winter holiday and I think this Spring will be the best yet; for them and for me. I can see the snows melting away and the beginnings of new growth already.

And now because I know you are reading this, Sommar, yes, the elf of Bree did like your tea very much. No, I do not know if she has tried it yet but she smiled upon recieving the gift from me and I think that means that she likes it. Yes, we all know you are an accomplished herbalist. Yes, you may write me a letter telling me more for I know you try everyone else's patience doing so in person.

Until I see you all again, which may be for Yuletide next year,

Your sister, your cousin, your family who wishes you well from over the mountains,

Reora
