The Shades Journeys: My fair friends wedding.... Week 48

Today is a very special day...The day is sunny,  it could not be otherwise of course...My dear friend that I have known for so long, my rare friend from Eldar race Lady Eovina shall to day knit a special bond to Lord Tindir from Vanimar..

She asked The Shades to play at her wedding, what an honour and such a difficult task, maybe one of our most important event we have been asked to play at...It had to be perfect..more than perfect.. The wedding should be held at Falathlorn and I felt this fear and awe to even dare to put my feet in those lands..

The journey were peaceful, it was my friends and the bandmembers that travelled through the great lands of Ered Luin to Athrad Vidhui were the wedding should be held. I travelled with the bards Kosei, Abergar, Lustwyn; Loriandra and Amaliaa and our Orator Mugendo.. We played tunes to rehearsel along the way while the horses rested..Friendship were made as I felt I get closer to our new bards..

When we entered Athrad Vidhui I was caught by suprise by the beautiful surroundings, melodies filled my head again, inspiration and creativity were renewed and I could not help sit down on a rock and write...My fellow music companions started to tune their instruments and organized and prepared for the great event...

The ceremony place were filled with folks from the Eldar race, and somehow I felt so small and not worthy to be around at all, and I felt I didn't belong here and my nerves started to overwhelm me for a moment.. But their eyes and some wellknowned faces made me calm again..Their smiles and their natural solemn attitude made me relax somehow...

We started to play and a little crowd gathered around us..I saw Mugendo helped out direct people, the unique elfes from Vanimar made a swordsalute....and then Eovina came riding down the path.. So incredible beautiful and she looked like a white star.. lightening up the path... Eovina that never felt she found her place along her own race,  always felt on the side.. Right now.. She got all the attention and suddenly I got this new respect for this lady I always have called my friend...

Eovina and Tindir finally got married that day, they got a lot of nice words and gifts.. Hopefully the folks around liked our music aswell....I cannot remember everything that happened, I saw so much beauty and it changed something deep inside me, made my head blury and i felt happy...It was a magical evening....
