A.V. Ashbark's Ledger, Page 25

Date - 26th February

Prices have been adjusted after having broken ground in Bree-Town, this excludes our common customer base established prior to my arrival. Prices shall remain as adjusted, unless in extraordinary circumstances. Payment received has been deposited into the Bree Town bank. Ensure that documentation is in order when in collection.
Many of the above names were satisfied with the provided sample and tasting, and I shall endeavour to see if whom else may be interested. Toward that end, I shall take some business toward the other villages surrounding Bree Hill.

Folded into the ledger parchment was another.

A vine untangles with each sun’s coming,
A root grows frail in the moon’s falling
Leaves replaced forty times over,
And perhaps eighty times more,
If not fewer

Thin mud infests the soil,
Where festering worms consume;
Feasting upon those precious hours

We race toward the true dusk,
Some swifter than others;
There where the moon touches the sea,
And gulls beckon upon our names

The last leaves shall blow there,
But shall you still be waiting?
Left lonesome upon the black shore,
Received by no ship still,
Watching their sails pass into the horizon.

I live with it. So must you.
