This week is a time for relaxing..
There is only one thing to do, and that is a finale practice as a last finish. Lithia is working on the outfits and Abergar and Mugendo is working with the introductions and the stories. Aeronhaf is looking at the stage choordination. Is many small details that has to be discussed, at the end is this details that really gives the event an extra touch, and hopefully creates an memorable event. Otherwise we have our instruments tuned and I am working on a playlist, I have adjusted my melodies and arrangements a little bit. And the announcement are done aswell.. So... I don't know what left to do.. What I know is that is important to relax just to renew my energy.
I really look forward to this, the concert will be of a smaller format than before. I have focused inviting my closest friends and those I know apreciate my music. We haven't worked that much to promote the concert, not doing lots of performances right before a concert. I have decided to be a bit more relaxed regarding this, and not be so stressed about it, in the end it will ruin the fun. It don't need to be a huge event just to make me happy. The circumstances around The Shades are a bit special nowadays, so for me is important to have fun with my friends, and play some music to all the folks I really like and consider as friends. So this week I have travelled around in Eriador.. Just to get away..
I have even been visiting the Tavern in Thorin Halls of all things..I got an ivitation from Vunar, a stout and proud dwarf from the Mithril Guard. I was so nervous when I came because I have heard a lot about this dwarven events.. I heard rumours about them that they are quite noisy and rude, and I also heard about their bar-fights. I was standing outside the tavern a long time before I dared to enter. I heard the dwarfs were cheering and laughing inside the tavern, and the noise of the mugs and music echoed out to the tunnels I was standing. I felt totally missplaced and uncomfortable, I decided that it probably would best to turn, but the warm light from the tavern sort of drawn me closer unconsciously.
I was a bit relieved when I saw a wellknowned face in the distance. Mae were there, the mysterious lady from Rohan, that plays music in an unique way, that only she can do. I have talked to her briefly before. She is a silent lady, but her eyes are friendly. And because of her I got the courage to walk into the tavern. Suddenly I was in the spotlight and the dwarfs came towards me with open arms and a huge smile on their faces, at once I was terrified but it didn't last for long. I was so suprised! They greeted me and introduced me for everyone, as polite folks do. And I even got a huge mug of ale and a pie. I felt so welcomed, and suddenly I found myself talking to them and I even danced with some of them.... And someone told a tale too, it was a very cheerful atmosphere in this cosy tavern. So I was so glad I got the courage to enter the tavern. And I learned a lot from them aswell, that I can use as an inspiration for my music....
