The rescue in the east.

So in Tunaraz' youthfull days it was!  Strong he was like a young oak with bulging limbs and a fierce glance that could paralyse lesser men! And his arms were covered in many a red knotmark , it showed others that they met a  warrior of great fame and skill.. or luck!

In the days of his youth, Honeyspot.. the place of his birth that he ever called his home, was ruled by four powerfull families, a time of peace it was, although unstable at the best of times, for these families would often fight one another over the possession of land and wealth.

Though one of the reasons for their survival up untill the days of the Season of Weddings in the times of their broken leadership. It was always that they would unite if they were met by a threat that would engulf all of them had they refused to do so.

And so we shall begin then with our tale!  Honeyspot’s people were not unfamiliar to battle, even though many of them were farmers and traders, builders and a few fishermen or boatsmen on the river they call the Langflood. In history they have been spared from the gravest of invasions that the north of Rhovanion had ever seen, it would happen at times though that raiders both goblin and warg.. or Dark men from the east, would come to seek for spoils and slaves and stumbled upon the many farms of..indeed Honeyspot, to the men living there known as Honungmaerc. Such raids had proven to be repelled for many generations, yet always at a cost of many lives and prosperity.  On such a raid Tunaraz' first woman so was stolen from him. By ill luck or fate.

For Tunaraz remained the choice.. to forsake his woman and leave her to the cruelty of the eastern men and marry another, or to seek her out. The man was known for his fiery temper though and his disgust of unjust actions and it would not take long before he came before his chieftain and he set himself on one knee and spoke, in a voice full of pain and misery.. yet an urge that demanded speed, “My lord!.. Long has my axe, taken the necks of your foes and my service has been unwavering and true. Although it is not my desire, my heart tells me that I should follow the trail of those foul men and get my woman back, for no other’s arms do I crave! I ask of you.. give me some of your warriors and let me avenge the fallen and bring our loved ones home again!”

And upon seeing one of his most strongest warriors plead so desperately the man would extend his hand to him and he said, “ Your arm I shall miss.. but more so do I miss the company of the dead already and the many crops and wares they have managed to steal! If you would set out and regain that which has been taken from us and punish those who would dare come take it, then I shall offer you twenty of my warriors at your own choosing, except for my two brothers! And I bid you a good journey.”

And so it came that he would find many sons and daughters of the tribe to step forth , willing to lend aid where they could.
