| Outward Appearance | A dwarf-woman is rarely recognised as such, unless by other dwarves or their most intimate friends. If not belonging to either group, an onlooker would find nothing exceptional about this dwarf: a weathered face and grey beard adorned with glass beads tell the tale of many years spent on the road; a tale further supported by sturdy boots and a pack bursting with scrolls and trinkets. |

Background
Other Longbeards of Erebor may know Hrondís as the sister of Hrondur, son of Heri. She eschews the dwarven practice of mentioning her lineage in introductions, naming herself as Hrondís of Erebor or Ered Luin (depending on which one is closer).
Hrondís' life played out entirely within Thorin's Halls in the Blue Mountains, until the dragon Smaug was slain and many of Durin's Folk made ready to return to the Lonely Mountain. Hrondís and her older brother went with them while their parents stayed behind. The journey was long and arduous, but it awakened a love for the world in her which made her unable to settle in Erebor for long.
Hrondís trades in interesting and unique items such as books or relics, utilizing her network of contacts all across the northern realms. She has also developed an interest in the history and lore of the lands she travels. Happy to converse with anyone who comes across her, she likes to collect tidbits of wisdom as much as another dwarf might value a well-cut gem.
