Iriniel is tall and slender, a fair elf-maiden with sea-grey eyes and sunlight in her face. Her hair is long and flowing - though most often worn neatly high upon her head - the colour of wheat and adorned with flowers in her many braids. 

A wood spirit by name and nature, she is greatly at home in the forest and spends most of her days and nights walking among the trees and singing for no audience but the birds and other forest-life. 

She is serious in nature and pragmatic, but not unkind, and dislikes seeing cruelty or mistreatment of folk almost as much as she dislikes the felling or harming of the trees in her wood.
