His eyes are a bright blue and often shine with the light of his merriment. Faelingon likes to laugh or smile and does so at every opportunity he gets. He can usually be seen in his work attire and, rarely, in his armour. The colours he wears are mostly gold and blue. At first glance he seems to care little for his outward appearance, but on closer inspection (and especially after getting to know him), it become obvious that he is not a simple stable hand, but rather an old and quite powerful (yet retired) warrior of Gondolin. |

Background
Faelingon was born in Gondolin, where he and his family were part of the House of the Golden Flower. He was trained as a Warden and fought for his king and the lord of his house with passion and deadly skill.
He blames arrogance for the downfall of Gondolin and therefore despises it. Rather than seeking glory in battle or sailing to the West, he enjoys a quiet life and his work in the stables of Rivendell, only occasionally helping the guard to keep the valley safe. He is determined to protect others from the pain and suffering he had to endure in the past, while giving them hope and helping them find joy and peace in the things Middle Earth has to offer. He has a deep love for Middle Earth and will not depart from it for a long while.
