She was born in Lhan Tarren, she lived there with her parents for ten years until her mother was slain by the Forgoil, so his father decided to take revenge on those who killed his wife. That time she first learnt to use weapons and how to fight, learning the tactics of the Caru-Luth, when she was fifteen winters old his father was attacked by a Forgoil, just come of age, thinking of all the dunlendings to be monsters like the legends of old and then she decided to kill him without any excuse and managed to save his father, The Brenin of Caru-Luth. Then she went into the wilds for a few years and learnt many techniques on her own then returned to Lhan Tarren.
One night there was a raid on the Caru-Luth by The Uruks, capturing her and taking her to their own encampments, she managed to save her life by freeing herself, then returned again to the village that was burnt during the assault and there she found her family slain. She rebult the village with the other survivors and then left to search for those who managed to escape. 

She travelled the lands for two years looking for them and finally moved on with 5 others and someone who soon changed her life. 

Keola returned to Dunland with Ithel, her husband that managed to survive the massacre on the farmlands.
