In the beginning, there was naught,
to name the past.
There was nothing,
Nothing but,
A Yawning Gap.
A depth endless,
eternal this sizeless Void!
There was no up, no down!
No light, no darkness!
No north, nor east, nor south, nor west!
No sound, nor silence!
Something I was and also nothing.
There was no laughter, no sorrow,
no fire, no water,
no earth, nothing of matter.
Time was and was not, till I .. heard...!
I went looking, far or short was the journey, I ...felt...!
I found the source, this First Being, captivated me, I ... sang along..!
The Creation... wonderful, drowned out I got, I ... a creation..!
A disturbance in the song, it's beauty and it's elegance .. gone.
Foul was this new voice, other voices joined it, misguided..
I heard a clarion call, I let out one myself, battle joined!
Great anger, fury, frenzied! Yet even the battle that is won.
Has it's price and brings much of what I do not know.
I wander, seek the answer, ask those who have.. a tale.
I creep now amidst long grass, beneath waves, upon mighty gales!
I have received for myself, many names!
