2968 T.A. saw the birth of a particularly special hobbit... no, not Frodo, it was Alamo Goldcap! Alamo was born to the wealthiest family on Bree Hill, the Goldcaps. When his father died, Alamo took over the family wealth and proceeded to buy most of the hill. He rented out the holes to hobbits, and made twice what he paid for the properties in no time. So it was that he became richer and richer, and now he is one of the richest people in Bree.
