I am Dolengurth, elven hunter and skirmisher of Doriath. I was born in the 364th year (As men count it.) of the first age of the world to the Doriathin marchwarden Maldathar and his wife Muilwen, hand maid of Rîn vuin Melain. I grew up among the Marchwardens and later joined their ranks and fought along side my father. I served until the Noldorin attack on Menegroth where I was rendered unconcious after a shield blow and awoke to find my parents dead, slain by the Noldorin. I then traveled to the Havens of Sirion and on to the Isle of Balar where I lived out the rest of the war of wrath. For much of the second and third ages I lived in Lindon and among the dwarf halls of Ered Luin.
