Once i dwelt with my kindred in Eglarest, before the Fall of Nargothrond.  Happy were those days and full of song and laughter.   When the Darkness came i was far from home but a great shadow pierced my heart and i knew that ill-tidings awaited me.  Swift as an eagle i journeyed to my homeland but, alas, came too late.  All was ruin and destruction and of my parents and my friends i could find no trace.   Long did i wander, ever seeking, ever hoping, but never finding,  After many travels i came to Doriath and passing the Girdle of Melian i came to the halls of Thingol where i learned of the fall of Nargothrond and the destruction of Eglarest. Many Elves were slain and many taken away as captives, never to be seen again.  Yet i lived in hope of one day finding my parents and through all the long years and Ages of this world i have continued my search and have become a Wanderer in the Wilds.
