Frugli is a dwarvern engineer from a long line of engineers hailing from the Water-Works of Moria before eventually migrating to the White Mountains, before the Fall of Moria. He is also a warrior of some skill, but despite his great strength, it does not rival his technical mind. His elegant and well-crafted armour have been passed down through four generations, from his ancestor. Fragun, who was once the Lord of the Water Works in Moria, for an undisclosed time.

Frugli now lives with his brother, Mubben, at Kunzek Bhund, also known as Gondamon, working both as an engineer and as the Master of Bounds, the one who governs the territory outside of Gondamon and the industry there, if hunting and prospecting can be called an industry.

Frugli prides himself as being amongst the greatest smiths to the west of Rivendell, and most dwarves of Gondamon will back up his claim.
