Born and raised in Buckland, Honeyleigh was the youngest of five and sole daughter. Her mother hailed from Tuckborough​, moving to Buckland after marriage. Her parents helped operate the Buckland Faire, where Honeyleigh herself helped tend her family stand. She has two brothers who became bounders, while the other pair have taken up farming and brewing. As a child, she was the rowdiest of the group, running circles around her brothers and instigated trouble amongst the other neighbourhood children with expeditions around Buckland and even into the Old Forest.Recently having come into her tweens, Honeyleigh was sent to stay with relations in Brockenborings in the hopes that her relations across the Brandywine may have a more calming effect.
