A letter to Elorfin #5

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dear Father, Recent events in my life have taken their toll on me, through no bad intention I have badly let down my Lord Veryacano, a journey of great importance to him did not fair well and to a greater extent it was my own doing. I had pleaded with him that my intentions were motivated for the good nevertheless I have failed him. His anger has burned and now my punishment lingers..

The one whom I love Lady Amorith, I have been instructed for now not to see, my heart longs to see her but I must obey my Lord.

An Unexpected Gift: The Blessing of Life -- Part 1

Story

The moon was full and hung low in the sky the night Anglachelm left Falathorn. Ina watched it for long moments from her front garden, listening to the gentle sound of the river as it tumbled past her house. Somewhere, not yet too far, he was traveling under that same moon. The thought of that should bring her comfort, and maybe it would one day, but now. Not yet. Her grief was still to raw.

I must write ... I writing I am not alone. Twice now I have moved, further into the marshes. The mist closes in on me, no longer a welcome veil...and it is dark, so very dark. I feel that dark settle on my skin, palpable dark... a nothing that envelopes, seeps into pores. Somewhere above me are stars, I believe it to be true, but nothing of stars or moon are here. All my light for this scratching is come from Esteluinil. She radiates softly, the only illumination. But I know what she tells me - orcs wander at will in these hills, and of them I have no fear...

Rumours from Elven Lands

A controversial shift in leadership among the elves of Vanimar; will it bring war or peace?

The breeze seems determined to have this paper from me this evening. There, I see Randir disappearing around the side of the hill, searching again, spying out the safest route. He is fully absorbed in his task though tonight I am distracted, with one thought coming swift on the heels of another. Where is Araenion? What has happened back at the refuge that delays him? To press on without him, trusting to his abilities in the wild to follow our route, or to turn back?

Too much fire in the hall

Yestereve I left Araenion absorbed in the library. For once a gathering of the Eldar did not tempt him, curled up as he was by the study fire, lost in maps of the East. In truth I was pleased, I had not the heart to tell him that the invitation had only been extended to me, that for this one time Men were not allowed.
