Tall and lithe, Yrill is a typical Hunter, keen of eye and ear, and swift of foot. She is also quite 'typical' of a Nolde in appearance, with long, straight black hair, grey eyes and a pale, luminous complexion. She often wears black or brown leather, though chooses green when she is needing camouflage. 

Yrill speaks Sindarin as her native language, and has a limited understanding of Quenya and Westron.

Stable of mood, she rarely gives way to anger, partly because it is not in her nature and partly because she will not allow anything to disturb her focus. When relaxed, she can have a keen sense of humour, but like many older Elves, she carries some dark memories that can sometimes overwhelm her.
