In Lindon the Dúnadan Lore-Keeper seeks to hear and preserve the tales of the Elves that still remain in Middle Earth before they depart forever. The Noldorin builder Himdanel awakes her wonder as she tells her stories of far gone days, but Gwetheril wonders how much of her own heart-ache the Elf reads with her penetrating remarks.
